IVRI congratulates David Raulet to his election to the National Academy of Sciences! We are proud to see our faculty director honored this way. David Raulet is the Esther and Wendy Schekman Chair in Cancer Biology at UC Berkeley and a recognized expert on cancer immunotherapy and the body’s natural defenses against tumors. His laboratory investigates how the immune system, specifically Natural Killer cells and T cells, recognize and eliminate cancer cells. His work has been contributing to novel therapeutic modalities against cancer. He is also a co-founder of a company, Dragonfly Therapeutics, that aims to bring new, first in class cancer therapeutics to market.
